Fudo Damascus Utility Knife – Petty – 135 mm
VG1 Steel Core and 33 Layers
The blade is a masterpiece made of 33 layers of stainless Damascus steel. At its heart lies a core of VG1 steel, hardened to 58 – 62 Rockwell (HRC). This hard core is protected on both sides by 16 layers of softer Damascus steel, ensuring stability and resistance to breakage. The result is a beautiful structural pattern on the blade, making each piece unique.
Elegance and Practicality
The black handle with metal accents is ergonomically shaped for a comfortable grip. The fine and precise grind allows for slicing very thin cuts of roast, ham, or salmon. The knife is delivered in an elegant wooden cassette with a sliding lid, making it a prestigious gift as well.

Care and Maintenance
To keep your Damascus knife beautiful and sharp for a long time, follow these rules:
- Washing: Wash the knife exclusively by hand in hot soapy water. Remove dried residue with a fingernail or nylon brush.
- Drying: After washing, dry immediately with a soft cloth. Do not let it air dry to prevent spots from forming.
- Warning: Never put the knife in a dishwasher! Doing so voids the warranty and irreversibly damages both the edge and the handle.
- Polishing: Any spots or discoloration on the blade can be removed with a fine polishing paste.
